Primary focus of IoT Innovation Challenge is to provide an opportunity for Engineering Students to kindle their making skills and get Industry Ready. Internet of Things (IoT) and its application in various domains is one of the key future proof technical skill.
In order to ensure that Students get a good platform to learn, collaborate and showcase systems engineering skills, the IoT Innovation Challenge will include an Industry Championed Bootcamp to start with. During the Bootcamp, Students learn Integrated Product Development Skills and Fundamentals of Internet of Things – Technology Elements.
Once Students complete the Bootcamp, they will form a team of 3-5 members (from the same college) and include a college authorised faculty as Internal guide. They’ll then submit their Idea for the IoT Innovation Challenge. All selected teams progress through the Challenge. An Industry Expert might be appointed as a Mentor to help teams through design, development, prototyping and demonstration of the solution they build.
Industry Experts as Jury Members for all evaluation stages helps students with feedback and insights to make their solutions stronger and enhance their engineering skills. Original ideas and solutions may garner good support from participating companies in terms of technical resources and access to labs either during the challenge or post final evaluations.
With a variety of Partners, Sponsors and Industry Experts participating in this year’s IoT Innovation Challenge 2017, Students and Colleges will benefit greatly. Like previous challenges, participating companies will benefit from having industry ready talent and innovative product/ solution portfolio additions.
Let’s make IoT Innovation Challenge 2017, remarkable!
